    Information about the author

     John Green

    John Green an American author of young adult fiction an YouTube vlogger was born on the 24th August 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana, but he grew up in Florida. He attended Indian Springs School, a boarding school near Birmingham, Alabama,which served as a model for Culver Creek school in "Looking for Alaska". He gratuated from Kenyon College in 2000 with a double major in English and Religious Studies.
    Green lived for several years in Chicago and and New York City, where he worked as a book reviewer.
    ~" Looking for Alaska" (2005) was Green's first novel and received many prizes. He was written a few novels since, including "An Abundance of Katherines (2006).
    Now he lives in Indianapolis with his family.
